Handmade felt is an exciting & versatile medium to work with. Each piece is as individual as the artist themselves.
Felt Flowers

In this workshop you will look at the wide range of items which can be made from wool and the various techniques & fibres used in the feltmaking process.
Learn the basic principles of this traditional craft and then create your own unique flower using merino wool and some decorative beading.
You will take home a beautiful & wearable piece of art which will not fade or wilt.
  
Sessions range from a couple of hours for basic feltmaking to day workshops exploring the craft in greater detail for either adults or children. Also courses over a period of several weeks would allow different techniques to be used and various ideas to be incorporated into the students work.
Costs vary depending on time, travel, as well as the quantity of materials used and so is subject to negotiation.
Work produced in the craft sessions could range from a simple piece of felt or a card using such a piece with decoration incorporated into the felt, to a small vessel moulded round a template or a ball,  for example, to an item such as a flower, a picture, a bangle or even a bag.
